Aspire Physio started 10 years ago when I left the NHS with the goal of creating a more responsive and high-quality personalised service to improve the health, mobility and confidence of both older adults and adults with neurological conditions.

I have over 25 years of experience as a Physiotherapist improving the health and well-being of adults and specialise in 2 areas:

- working with adults over the age of 80 who are challenged with their mobility, movement or balance after a fall or illness. I help them to improve how they move and become more confident in carrying out the daily activities they enjoy.

- working with adults who have a neurological condition such as a Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. I help people to improve their movement and function and or manage their condition.

I work with people in their own homes and care homes which has the benefit of seeing people function in their own environment and assisting people who can't travel for appointments either due to loss of mobility or other factors.

My experience of working in the NHS for many years and locally enables me to assist people in navigating other health and social care services to meet their needs.

I often get referrals from relatives of older people and they report of the value they have found in having support and advice in assisting Mum or Dad to improve mobility and independence.

I work currently mainly in the Derbyshire area, but am able to travel to see people in areas nearby.
